The University of Barcelona places in the position 194 in Universities World Ranking 2007 of the British supplement The Times Higher Education Suplement (THES).
The University of Barcelona is the only Spanish representative in the classification of 200 best universities of the world published by the English newspaper The Times in its educational supplement The Times Higher Education Suplement (THES).
This fourth edition has not changed very much with regard to the previous ones and Harvard's University is still the first one followed by the British Cambridge and Oxford, Yale in fourth position, and Imperial College London in fifth place.
The top ten have continues being dominated by the English and North American universities, these with 57 in the list. In fact, between the first 20 places only there are 4 universities of other nationalities: the Canadian MCGILL, the Australian National University, the University of Tokyo and the University of Hong Kong.
The Executive MBA of Instituto de Empresa (IE) and IESE are between the 20 best of the world.
The business school IESE heads the European classification and places for third year between the best three of the world.
ESADE heads the ranking of the newspaper The Wall Street Journal as the worlds best business school that gives MBA's.
The Shanghai Jiao Tong University of China has published, for fifth consecutive year, the ranking with the 500 Worlds Best Universities.
